i am thinking about converting my fwd celica to a rwd
now i would like to know if it is anywhere near possible
and if so how hard could it be?

i am already working on a bmw e30 to a m3 swap
so i dont have too much money to spend on the conversion so i would also like to know the rough price

If it's a generation that never came in a RWD configuration then you're looking at probably 6 hojillion dollars more than you want to spend.

Want a celica engine in RWD?

It would be cheaper and more reliable to just buy a Lotus.

Nice!

I wanted a Corrado VR6/SLC for so long.

Checked out a dozen or so of them over the years and they all seemed to be in poor condition w/ high mileage.

Got tired of looking so I ended up buying a bimmer.

Still wouldn't mind owning one of those someday.

Just buy a beatdown RHD MR2.... everyone else did. :dunno:

It can be done for about $5000, you'd need to swap in a different engine that was rear wheel drive as well as the gearbox and cut a custom differential to fit. I know a guy who was going to put a Mustang engine into his Focus and convert it to rear wheel drive.
