Well after 3 1/2 years it has finally come time for me to sell my pride and joy. Most of my income has gone into this car, and its going to be extremely tough to see her go. Started off her ownership with me completely stock. Within the first few months I replaced all bushings filters sensors and mounts because they notoriously go bad at the 150km mark on the E36. I spent the better part of the first year on maintenance before I moved onto modding. It was built to be an M3 replica, but I decided to go a bit over the top (such as the hood), and most people that ask me about it think its a highly modified M3. The list of mods is fairly extensive because I built her for the shows. I will try to remember everything although I guarentee there is a lot of things I've missed.

Keep in mind, when most sellers say "M sport package", they are most often lieing. Unless it has the entire M body kit there is nothing "M" about it. Almost every other person selling their e36 on kijiji right now claims it "M sport".

For Go:
1999 M3 Limited Slip Differential with 3:23 gearing (By far the best mod I ever did)
Full custom free flow exhaust (Magnaflow muffler with 3" DTM tips, factory catalytic converters and resonators removed and replaced with four straight through flow-pro resonators (two on each pipe))
Dinan chip (increased rev limiter and re-programmed the fuel mixture and ignition timing, now requires 91-93 octance)
H&R Race springs (lowest you can get without coilovers) with Koni yellow adjustable shocks (I go stiff in summer, soft in winter)
Front strut bar
Brembo cross drilled rotors with Hawk pads
Ultima Extreme gel battery
Upgraded 140amp alternator (factory is 80)
Debaffled factory intake (never saw the point in an aftermarket one, when once the factory is debaffled it sounds the same and has the same gains)
NGK spark plugs

For Show:
M3 front bumper
M3 rear bumper
M3 twist sideskirts
M3 mirrors
M3 floor mats
M3 shift knob
M3 side moldings
M3 center console with cupholders and arm rest
M3 97+ front grilles in boser hood
M3 97+ fenders with sidemarkers
17" Replica M5 Wheels with Pirelli tires
One off custom boser hood done professionally at Atlas Autobody (only one in Canada with the look, and of the people that have done a custom boser hood, I think mine looks the best)
Clarion 7" flipscreen deck
MOMO millenium evo steering wheel and hub
Fenders have been professionally rolled (to accomodate my old BBS rims)
Nustart car starter and alarm
Depo angel eye headlights with custom Chrysler 300C projector retrofit and OEM 4300k bulbs (a lot of work but looks awsome)
Clear corners all around
Depo smoked crystal taillights
20% tint up front and 5% (limo) in the rear
New windshield
Chrome gauge rings
Authentic AC Schnitzer pedals
Extra winter rims
2 Sets of keys

Maintenance within last 50km:
Paint on most of the car (hood could use a respray, although if you just want to fix the chips I am including a bottle of touch up paint)
New tranny, shock, and engine mounts
New starter, radiator, crank position sensor, fuel pump, tie rod ends, ball joints, valve cover gastket
New mass air flow sensor, oxygen sensor, fuel filter
Oil changed every 5000km with Quaker State "horse power" 5w-50 full synthetic and OEM oil filter
Antifreeze changed every 10000km with only BMW specified antifreeze
Other fluids changed as often as needed
A/C removed to save weight since its was not needed in Canadian climate
Always used 91-93 octane

Factory Options:
Power windows
Heated Seats
Soft leather with sport seats (have cloth in rear, tore the leather taking my snowboard in and out. Cloth is much stronger and you can never tell with the limo tint in the rear)
On Board Computer
ABS
Power door locks (central locking)
Power steering
Climate control
Rear defroster

If I had to guess I would say I have put over $25000 into this car. Since I am loosing money on the sale its hard to say "it was worth it", but considering when I drive around it stills turns heads I like to think it was. Also since the body has been completely updated to the 97-99 body style nobody believes its a 93. I have had some people think its as new as a 04 (although there are lots of dumb people out there). Actually nobody ever believes its not an M3 :P. Car can smoke a factory 328 and runs quite close to the stock M3 down the 1/4 mile. I won't lie and say it was never raced, BUT, I actually kept the maintenance up so engine is still running extremely strong, and clutch still shifts like a charm.

She does have a few dents and scratches, but nothing major. Also a few minor things don't work such as cruise control and power mirrors, but I never listed it in the "factory options" area because of this. I was also in a minor fender bender a few years ago but it was fixed by Atlas Autobody. Everything important works, and since doing all my maintenance I havent had any problems with her at all. She drives perfectly straight, even at 230km/h, not even a wobble. Never had any clutch problems and doesnt grind at any times. Idle is where it is supossed to be at 800rpm, and there are no problems anywhere through the rpm band. No rattles and no creaks. No noise on full tilt, and no rubbing. No noise in the cabin and suspension isnt rough, unless changed to full stiff.

When I put the M3 limited slip in I had some old winter tires laying around so I decided to burn them up. This was the most work the car had ever seen lol. Heres the video of that (also works for you to hear a clip of the exhaust. However since then 2 more resonators have been added so its not as raspy/loud. Rear brakes were also replaced shortly afterwards): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OBTtPnLchM

I built this car so that it would fit who ever is driving it. Its not specifically a teenagers car. It has class and pristige. I think a 40 year old could drive this around and still look good (unlike a riced out civic). I finally am living my dream and bought an M3 so unfortunatly my baby has to go. But without further ado here are the photos:
