View Full Version : Suggest a company name

A few of us are trying to create a name for a project, where we are supposed to create a food/drink company.

So far we haven't been able to come up with something completely unique, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This company would make bubble tea, perhaps light refreshments.

We want to use our initials - R, J, L, and M to create a team name/company name. However, any insight would be great.

Thanks in advance! :)

Edit: This might not be the best place to have the thread but I figured that maybe some of you food lovers out there would be able to help us figure out a good food related name while tying in the initials somehow.

Why use your initials? It seems to be a huge limiting factor. Besides, names that are environment focused seem to do better.

Like, you might want to use something like "Tea-Dott" or "Tspot". Something that can connect with your audience (young, generally single tech-savvy people seem to be who drink bubble tea).

how about Tea Baggers or Tbags. I actually like T-Spot. There's already a restaurant called Teapot though.

Hmm some of the names listed so far are pretty good haha.

I guess scratch the initials idea - we were supposed to think up a name that's related to us so I figured initials would be the easiest, but we can work with other names.

Keep them coming!

here's an idea: do your own homework. i know that group work basically just teaches you to pass the buck, however there are four of you and you would think that at least one of you could take responsibility

What makes you think I am not doing my own homework?

When you're working on a project that is supposed to appeal to the general public, asking the public is the best way to figure out a name that would appeal to them.

I'm just asking for suggestions. If you can't understand that then stay out of my thread.

Jive probably isnt the best word for J, but i couldnt think of anything else... other than Joke or Jizz... you choose the lesser of two evils.

Let me guess that you're in Faculty of Business at the University of Calgary. Stealing or using other people's ideas instead of coming up with your own? Yeah, great work guy. You give everyone with a B Comm. degree a bad name. Why don't you go sit with your group, and actually do some work instead of trying to short cut.

And.. would you admit to your prof and the dean of the faculty and the rest of your class that you got the name of your project from other people off an internet forum full of strangers?

I thought not.
