New To The Game

So after using a crappy Fujifilm P&S for last few years, I broke down and bought my first DSLR. I have absolutely no knowledge about cameras (I don't think I ever took my old camera off auto everything :D ) but I'm slowly learning about what F-Numbers and ISO means :rofl:

I ended up with a Sony Alpha 200 (http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servlet/ProductDetailDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=1004781&navigationPath=n32090n100268) and I'm quite happy with it so far. I got an excellent deal on it, along with a Pelican case, extra battery, small tripod & 16GB compact flash.

Hopefully my first real test with it will be at the AutoShow this weekend and we'll see how my pictures turn out :thumbsup:

Congrats! Have fun with the camera and just get out and shoot as much as you can. that's the best way to learn!

a200 is a great camera. On top of that, you can use AF ZEISS lenses:drool: :drool: Make sure read the manual at least 3 times and have fun with the camera.

Now I need to start shooting the same thing over and over again with different settings.

I'm new as well to Digital Camera's (well I can work basic point and shoot digital camera's easily), but I want to buy myself an SLR camera.
