Roof Racks

hey guys, i dont know which stores carry 'yakima' or 'thule' roof rack systems. just wondering if anyone knew which stores did..

and

out of the "brands" of roof rack systems, which would you guys prefer. i go snowboarding and stuff but I dont have room in my car to haul the equipment and drive my passengers. im looking at the 4 snowboard carrier application.


it will be going on a 2006 accord sedan so I dont have the factory bars or whatever on top like my dads 4runner.

so any input is greatly appreciated. (sorry if this is wrong section haha)

Youre better off piecing together your own rack off ebay.
I bought all new stuff off ebay and pieced together a Yakima rack and it ended up costing me ~$300, whereas it wouldve been close to or over $600 if I wouldve bought it locally.

If youre looking to get one locally anyway, I know Racks Unlimited stocks Yakima and Thule racks.

kevin, do you know which parts I need to part together?
guess i can try to check the thule/yakima sites i dunno anything HAHA.

aight ill check it out, if i can save 50% i'd do it.

I just went on the Yakima website and it tells you exactly what you need. You just type in your car and it tells you. Then I went on ebay and searched for the specific parts like the clips, towers, bars and accessories.
