I was down in Cancun Mexico last week for a business conference I attended. (Don't worry, I had a little fun as well) :bigpimp:

Weather seemed cold for what it should be (but still better then Calgary haha)
It was pretty windy almost all day, every day. Only rained one day and it was just a quick half hour spit.

I miss warmth lol :(

I cant wait for my "business" conference in Vegas this friday haha.. Ill make sure I do as much work as you dude!

Damn I'm getting ripped off. My conference was in a small room at the deerfoot in and casino:(

I stayed on the west coast, in the guanacoste province.

I went last march, which is nearing the end of the dry season, so expect 30-45*C and 90% humitity.

The place is less westernized than Mexico/Cuba/Dominican.

I would go back, but not at the end of the dry season, maybe the beginning of the dry season where its 25-35 and 50% humitity.
Going to the East coast where the Rainforest is would be better. The Guanacoste province is a "Dry" rainforest so dont expect it to be really lush (and its all dead during the dry season, hah)

We stayed at the all inclusive Villas Sol (http://villassol.com/) it was alright, I would suggest staying in the hotel which has had some newer reno's, or the actual condo's on site.. Avoid the studio's they blow (where I stayed).

We did the Volcano tours, some ziplining, White water rafting, etc.. and some shopping. (Wait till you get to town before buying booze, ignore the steal money from whitey shops on the way in)

7.5 hour flight is a kick in the pants, but it was alright. The airport in Liberia is a quanset hut (barn). It makes you feel safe.. haha.

BREEEZY!!!! Looks like one hell of a time. Im heading off to ASU for their spring break this Thursday. Hopefully I can snag some dirty sorority girls...Pics will be up next week. hahah
