hey guys i am throwing a car meet in edmonton sometime in april as a going away thing for my cousin who is moving to Kelowna. the reson for this is i have never got a chance to participate in a big cruise myself and i get my lisence right here shortly. this is suposed to be a dsm meet but if you have a 2JZ or anything special u are more than welcome lol ... well any car is welcome but i would really like to see a supra come that would make his freaking day lol anyway if you can or want more info hit this up:)

I know the Mitsubishi Group has a car division (Mitsubishi Motors) and a division that manufactures other industrial goods (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) was Plymouth the same way? Did they manufacture anything besides lasers, like ships and turbines?

and as for the mitsubishi question....

when mitsubishi came out with their eclipse gsx in 89 plymouth saw a chance to get their own sports car so they decided to team up with mitsu. plymouth used a similar body and mitsu shipped thenm the motor and drive train... not to far after eagle decided they wanted in on it as well so then they made their own body style similar to the eclipse mitsu then shipped them the engine and drive train. plymouth dropped out in 94 and stopped producing. eagle stayed and made the 2G talon in 95 this was made all the way up till 98 with very little change.... they all look basically the same with minor differences these cars are called DSM's

in theory a 3000GT and dodge stealth are dsm's too because again its an american car with mitsu parts on it and very similar body styling but they call them something different... i still dont know why....

its just the way this thread started and your enthusiasm over supras/2jzs and DSMs is quite fitting for that age.

Here there are so many JDM supras, 300zxs, 3000gts, fd3s's etc here now (in the summer in one day, you can see at least one or one of each even!) its not how it was when I was a little kid in the early 90s, when seeing one of them made you roll down your window and point in awe. Its like seeing a Ferrari here, even then they are getting to be quite numbered here.

Nah grammar isn't even much apart of it. Really it was just a very vague thread, and no info on it. Grammar doesn't come much into play, seeing how for all we know he could be an ESL student, or just came over, etc.

If you are ESL, doesn't matter. A map is still a map from where ever you come from, and a location is still a location. Put some info up, but this is a Calgary based forum.
