I know that in the past, it was not worth the money to do it, but I seem to remember a change to that rule. Am I on crack or was there a change in the bumper laws?

Is it worth it given the exchange rate? I thought MBUSA was a nightmare to deal with?

I remember Chrissa posted awhile back how MBUSA wouldn't release the recall clearance letter for his parents who were US citizens and were moving to Canada so they were forced to sell the car! lol

I know, but I thought there was a change happening soon or already did.

The exchange rate sucks, but you can get them so cheap from the U.S.

You still have to change the cluster. MB in the US has MPH only clusters.

Bumpers do not need to be updated anymore.

That car looks beat to shit.

That car with that mileage (140k km!) is only worth $30k Canadian anyways...

With the exchange rate where it's at and the expenses to import, that is a TERRIBLE idea.

MBs are the toughest cars to bring up by far... not worth it by any stretch.

Seems like a lot of people just go and try anyway. If you are ever at the border at sweetgrass, you will find a yard that is full of MB's that have been sitting there for a long time.

Am I missing something? The car looks like brand new from what I saw - with the exception of the lower portion of the driver's seat....
