knes/similar courses

I heard non-knes people can take em, but I've also been told that they were restricted. so whats the word? I guess this would be for junior courses unless there are some open senior ones?

Those knes courses seem to be loads of fun and easy

I tried to get into a KNES class that covers the history of the Olympics. I looked at the prerequisites on Infonet and it didn't have anything. When I tried to add it to my course registration it said it was only open to KNES students.

Course that was a 400 level class.....woulda been sweet if I coulda gotten into that one cause it woulda been a GPA booster for sure and hella interesting.
