boost controller help...

I installed a boost controller on my car and when its completely closed it spikes up to 15 psi, then goes back down to 12 when im on full throttle! the thing is when i launch my fuel pump cant get enough fuel in to do 15psi and it just like doesnt go untill it drops back down!

could it be a leak therefore thats why its spiking as its trying to make up for lost pressure?

Get in there with a propane torch (unlit) run it against all your boost controler lines and vacum lines with car idling. If your idle increase you have found your problem.

maybe this thread is old, but your waste gate actuator arm is to tight (im assuming you have an internal waste gate?) loosen off your gate arm, or get/make an adjustable one. then you can set it as low/high as you want and have 2 ways to set your boost.
