View Full Version : Deerfoot Police Excercise?

I was trying to merge onto Deerfoot Trail Northbound from 16th today around 2.45pm. Deerfoot looked like it was shut down for a good three mins. judging by the traffic in the merge lane.

A few mins. later, about 7 or so Police Cruisers just blazed down Deerfoot northbound in what I can only imagine as a training excercise?

Does anyone know what that was about, or what they what kind of excersise they were conducting?

just a guess but GW was in town today giving his speach. It could have been him.

My guess is a police escort from downtown to YYC Int'l for former President GW.
