1 year old male cat

His name is Diego

We took this cat in temporarily - he had come from a broken home (family split up)

the deal was that we would take him till one of the parties settled, but turns out there seems to be no intention on taking him back :(

He is a very adorable cat, very playful and very loving excellent with kids and not aggressive with other cats (been taking punishment from our cat).

he was never raised around caged birds - so I would reccomend no homes with caged birds.

We have no history for this cat - but we know he isn't registered and likely not fixed.

Please let me know if anyone would be interested or knows a good home!

Diego's approx 7-8 months, and not neutered. He has short hair but it's so so soft!!
We would keep him if we didn't have our birds but he's tried to get them twice since thursday. I beleive he will never be tame enough to be around them or be alone with them and I love them too much to risk there lives.

I would prefer he go to a home with kids over 3 although he does like babies and younger kids. But our daughter has quite a few scratches because he wants to play but doesn't know any better.

I would like to see him go to a home that will be responsible and get him nuetered. Hes really an awesome, sweet little cat and would be a great life-time companion. He loves to cuddle and be around people. If anyone here chooses to take him in you will not regret it. I hate to see him go  but it's better for him!

I would take him in myself, except that we have six of our own. I'll definitely keep an eye out for you, though - we know some of the right kind of people.

You're doing a good thing!

wow 6 cats?! You're busy lol
I really didn't want to take him to the SPCA. My mom said I should just take him there but they are already overrun with cats. I don't like the thought of him sitting in a little cage going crazy for some love and attention.
I wanted to try and personally find him a home before surrendering him to maybe the MEOW foundation.
Someone is coming to look at him tomorrow so we'll see if I like him. I will post on here if he gets adopted.

THanks for checking for us!!

Don't take him to SPCA. Last time I check, SPCA will kill the animals after a certain period. Man, I already have 2 cats and 2 kids (1 kid= 5-10 cats? :) ).

MEOW foundation is a no kill organization. It's good if they are willing to take the cat. Do they take house cat now? Last time I heard, they only take rescued cats. I got one of my cat from them.

Would you happen to know what kind of cat this is?
Does he shed a lot?

...Cutest cat I have ever seen!

Hes a short hair tabby by the looks of it, he wont shed much/at all. Cat hair is really easy to clean up anyways. Theres a brush, as seen on tv, works really nice for picking up cathair from anything. Anyways, most short hair dont shed too bad ,its the long hair you gotta worry about.

I adopted a cat found on beyond , heres the thread, he removed pics tho haha http://forums.beyond.ca/st/205697/anyone-lose-a-cat/

heres a picture of him and one of my other two cats.

i have no more room for more cats or i would take him no problem

somebody take this cat, cats are the best companions, they dont ask for anything but food and a bit of love now and then.
