Clutch question

K so i just noticed this a couple days ago when this problem started happening.

I was driving and i noticed that when I stop my car (6spd manual tran) it does not stall when at a complete stop sitting in 1st gear when i let go of the clutch. then i tried swiching
gears without pressing the clutch in (From a stop) i could easily slip into all the gears including reverse.
when im in first gear at a stop i let go of the clutch and hit the gas. the car does not start moving untill 4000RPM. Anyone know what the problem is? I was thinking its a worn clutch but im not sure.

Yup worn clutch, you should be able to smell it if its not moving until 4000RPM.

I'd suggest limping it to a shop to have them change/diagnose it, don't drive it otherwise, hopefully you can avoid a tow.

it's fine, just drive it. that smell is nothing to worry about
