Why new engine??? Any preventative mods??? I know the fd's can be a bit tricky.

TT Rotarys (more likely the 13B REW) usually need a rebuild around 120-130 000 kms. So that was the reason for the new engine. It has tons of life and pulls like hell.

Like I mentioned in the post most major reliability mods have been done, like silicon hoses, downpipe, and rad.


FD's are only tricky if you dont look after them haha

how long do the turbos usually last

Depends how well you look after the car. The turbos usually outlast the engine by far as long as you let them cool down. (ie turbo timer) or something.

Pretty sure Turbos last decently long in these cars
