Dumbest ending EVER. The movie started off with tons of potential until ze germans arrived. The disasters in the movie i thought were well done, everyone else.. not so much.

yup couldn't agree more. It was another one of those movies with a 2 hour build up to a final shocking 10 min. Massive Spoiler
It was like the ending was lifted out of Indiana Jones

The 4 disaster scenes were nice and it had some suspense in it as well.
But Nicholas Cage has the same f'ing expression in every single scene no matter whats happening.

I was going to go see watchmen but my friends wanted to see this. Probably one of the worst movies i have ever seen:facepalm:

For this week, word will get around about how shitty of a movie it is. Everyone at the theatre was pissed and like :dunno: wtf was that?

Im interested in seeing what spot it comes in next week.

Watched this on wed instead of I love you man....and it was a decent movie until the ending...it seemed like they put quite a bit of effort into the first 95% of the movie...and then decided to hack out the last 10mins without any thought or anything...

If you're gonna watch it leave before thelast 10mins lol...

Old thread...I know. I just watched this on DVD and I loved it!

Yes, the ending is waaaay out there but it was refreshing to see a sci-fi movie be so bold. I watched with high expectations too knowing the director last made Dark City. I usually laugh at horror flicks but this movie genuinely creeped me the fuck out...

Just watch it because of that damn Blockbuster user rating system.

They are bold with the choices, and show glory deaths, I'll give them that. Plot sucks.

Actually the plot was decent i found... until the last 30 minutes. Then it just became ridiculous
