I would have stood up and punched this guy in the face, flying is stressful enough as is...:dunno:

Relax a little, Debbie.

That guy was pretty fly, haha. I would've love to have seen that on my flights.

The Westjet guy did a Christmas rhyme thing too (white dude, so he didn't rap)

Like back couple months ago during holiday season flight.

If I was any good, I'd go for a battle. He's just a Will Smith wannabe anyways.

I logged well over 250hrs on a plane last year, the announcement gets a bit boring especially when you have been waiting in a terminal for 2-5 hours, then waiting on the plane for another 30-45 min, not to mention all the security checks, the check in lines yadda, yadda...

Sure if Flying wasn't such a task and it was maybe my fist few flights I would have loved it and probably cheering for more.

Hahaha that was pretty entertaining. If you were stressed as hell I could see it being annoying though...

I can relate, i've flown over the pacific 14-26 hrs back n forth about 10 times (edit: not forgetting the 4 to 6 hr layovers in Tokyo, Taipei HK etc) and work in the aviation industry as a career, I guess it's just me, I enjoy flying of any circumstance, sure it gets boring and you know the routine for every type certificate and airline out there but its regulation and procedure, this would be better than monotone presentation, live or on fold out tv imo.

Yea this would keep me awake during the presentation.

As soon as I board a plane, I fall asleep and don't listen to their BS speech.

I think it's a great way to make some people relax, lighten the mood, etc.

Those are the kind of people airlines should seek out and employ. I'd fly with them again due to something like that. Why not? Reward creativity as opposed to quashing it.

So you were the guy crying like a little girl beside me the last time I was flying and we went through some turbulence.

If that guy was on a Westjet Flight, I'd ask for an encore in French.
