Hours of Operation: Not too sure, but they have a big sign on the grass outside of the restaurant. I think M-F 10am - 9pm

Went here for lunch with a co-worker today (March 24, 2009) from 12-1pm. The tables are lined up in rows, kinda like a high school cafeteria.

I had the following to eat:
- shrimp & pork salad rolls $5 for 3
- XL bowl of Pho Dac Biet (Special Beef Noodle Soup)

Food: 2/5 - I have to say the Pho here was horrible! I've had my fair share of Pho from around the city and Western Canada but this was probably in the bottom 3. Soup was so salty, blech! The salad roll was alright - smelled fresh. My only complaint was that they skimped out on the shrimp. It's typically 3-4 shrimp pieces, but this one was 2 pieces stretched out lengthwise. Oh well, it was still good.

Service: 2/5 - If you work at a vietnamese restaurant, I expect the servers to be able to understand it as well. I asked for my order in vietnamese but the server didn't understand a word I said. So I had to reorder using the "number" system on the menu. Sad.

Price: 4/5 It's on par with the other Vietnamese restaurants around town.

Overall: I'll probably try this place once more just because I their Bun (vermicelli) dishes might be good. But I will never try their Pho again. And one more thing I didn't like about this place (could just be me) is that they give you wedges of lemon...LEMON! Where's the lime? We use limes in our food, not lemons! Not to mention they serve tea in these little itty bitty expresso cups...weird.

It makes sense though doesn't it? What happens if someones grandparents goes there and they don't speak English and only their native tongue? How are they going to order besides pointing at the menu?

Just thought it was a bit weird.

I've eaten there once and it wasn't the best but it was priced decently, I agree pretty much with everything you said in your review.
My girlfriend thought the little expresso cups were cute though.
