Not sure if my eyes are deceiving me, but one set of rims looks red to me while the other cars' rims look pink. Perhaps they're 2 different cars with VERY similar set-ups? Besides, the sticker just in front of the rear wheels might indicate that they may be different cars, albeit the two shots are of different sides of the car though.

Sorry for the confusion. I posted about trading the car before actually picking it up.

The trade did go through.
Ill post some more recent pics of the car this week.
It has been lifted a bit since I picked it up (.75 inches)
along with I have removed the rear mud flaps and put on a Royal Pink shift boot to match the rims, Type R Rear lip, spoon replica spoiler and a Cold Air Intake.

new Tires are going on tomorrow. and update pics of the EK will be up ASAP

You dont need 5 lug to get slips in white. You can get them in black white gold polished almost anything in 4 lug. And of course if worse comes to worse you can paint them lol

Get them at fabircland, Ask for red suede it only cost about 30$/M and i only got half a meter so it's about 15$

It was great, i went there before last year to get my coffee can on it.
They did a very nice job on the install in my opinion, i haven't gotten any problems at all.
Service was good too, the guys there were pretty nice, funny that they've never seen a twin loop before.

Yes they have, I went there with my Mugen. Mind you, that was some 5-6 years ago now but it was the shop manager that did it for me so unless that guy left or something. Good design choice in mufflers though! You'll be sure to enjoy it. :thumbsup:

Thanks, yeah i love the sound, it's so clean, ill post a video soon with a comparison to my older can. I guess i sort of grew out of the big exhaust fad and now i want something that looks clean and sounds decent

I heard about that too with the OBX twin loops, how they get raspy after a while or with other bolt ons. I only got this muffler for looks and the fact that it's street legal. At least i hope it is lol...:nut:

Not to be a dick but unnfortunately nothing aftermarket for exhaust is legal. Especilly if you get a cop in a bad mood. my friend got a ticket for his rr ex-mag on his eg, if you look it up its probably the second or third most oem aftermarket you can get

Those exhausts are pretty quiet, and look very stockish, just a little bit bigger.

Well we tried on Arif's pair of TE's in 16x7 +43 I believe and it sat pretty flush. That's with the stock alignment and height, so I assume once we lower it, we can expect about -1.5 to -2.5 degrees of camber in the rear. The fronts will probably have a little camber added, but not much. Arif is using a 205/40/16 profile tire.

I think we can get away with 16x7 +38 on a 205/45/16 tire without too much rubbing or even rubbing at all. A guy on fitfreak has already fit 18x8.5 +42 on his fronts and 18x9 +29 on his rears - all with rubbing of course.

haha no, I don't think she's able to handle the rubbing. It even takes a chunk out of me everytime I rub.

It's just a good baseline to work with. As long as I know what the limit is for the offset and width, I'm able to work with anything under that.
To keep it aggressive and drivable, I think 16x7 +38 or 16x8 +40 will be best.

Definitely, you would get that aggressive look without all the rubbing. Arifs TE's are what 16's ? Maybe go some 16's or 17's ? and a 205 width? I'd go with like 230 in the rear and a 205 in the front if you could get it not to rub LOL.

Your camber doesn't change in the back when you lower it, the solid axle just stays the same. If you want to stay away from rubbing you'll need a +45 wheel at least in the front. I've tried +40 wheels on my GE8 and I rub when driving hard or going up my driveway. I'm also lowered on T1R S-Coils.

Nice Fit BTW. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one in town with a lowered GE8!

Ah, interesting! I just assumed that it was like my civic!
Now that I look at the rear closely, I see what you mean. So it looks like we'll need work to get the +38 to fit.
What profile tire were you using?
