need help! what are my options?

so heres the scoop

i have a kawasaki vulcan 900 custom, and a guy i know has a kawasaki Z1000 that he wants to trade straight up for my bike. which would be sweet because that is one of my favorite bikes ever!
the problem is that i am still paying my bike off i think i have just over one year left on payments. what i am asking is would it be possible to trade my bike for his and continue paying the same current loan i have on my vulcan? would i (and he) be able to regester the other persons bike? do i have to pay my bike off completly before i can trade it/sell it?

Should be able too. Talk to your bank, I almost did this with my 300z. Almost traded for another vehicle, they just transfer the lein to the new one. I dont know how easy it is though.

you would pay off the loan.
Have a different loan on the new bike.

Loan means a lein on the bike.
Means other guy is screwed in the deal.

just talk to the finance company, as Tarratula said. As long as the bank's happy with the security, you should be fine.
