Well I chose the option to have M$ ship me a box for me to ship my x360 back to them, getting it back today or tomorrow. I now have this extra box lying around.
This will save you 4+ days of being without your xbox, by using the option to just print the label and ship it (still at their expense) instead of waiting for an empty box to arrive. If your x360 dies anytime soon, you're more than welcome to grab this box from me. Turnaround time was only 3 business days from the time I shipped it.
You get the cardboard box and the 2 styrofoam inserts that fit an xbox perfectly. If nobody takes it in 2 weeks I'll crush it down and reclycle it.
