Yep, she is for sale. I don't need two machines, so the reliable MD250 is for sale.

• Conservatively Rated at 1000 rwhp and 160 mph (Had over 1100 rwhp on it)
• Comes with cabinet, flat screen Monitor, spare computer, cordless keyboard and mouse, HP Colour Inkjet printer
• Has the older and most reliable RPM pick-up/board (inductive) , and optional OPTICAL pick-up... been trouble free since I owned it, the only thing that "wears" are the inductive pick-ups when you leave them on a header ;)
• 3 bar maps sensor (easily upgradable to whatever you want)
• Exceptional quality Motec PLM Lambda meter for AFR (not some cheap $300 junk).
• 4 spare 0-5 volt linear fully configurable inputs.
• VERY robust ramps. These are twice as good as anything supplied by the dyno manufacturers, extra wide, and you can get under them for strapping/sensors/oil change etc.

This machine is still one of the best/most robust on the market. Dead easy software, and does
•HP/Torque/MPH
•Quarter Mile simulation that has proven itself over they years to be accurate within ~1 mph.
•Steady State for Stand alone and other EFI tuning... upto 600 hp Steady state!!!
•Coast down/parasitics measurement
•Step test function (ie, will hold any speed you want for several seconds, then ramp to the next speed etc, as many steps as you want, then loop back to the beginning) AWESEOME FEATURE, fully programmable.

This has had some of Calgary's coolest cars on it over the years, and by MD250 standards, the usage has been light. Mustang Dynamometer has had MD250's in Service for 10 years, 24 hours a day/7 days a week in manufacturing and military bases. The HUGE Dodge pillow block bearings, and coupler are all in good shape, with light use, and maintained at hte suggested 50 hour intervals, using good quality synthetic grease. The Drive belt is only a few years old, and normally does not fail.

Advantage buying it Local:
I can show you how to use it, and maintain it, and I guarantee it works.

$25,000

Perfect timing for the start of the season. It needs a paint job, but I will take care of it, grease it, and get everything 100% before you take delivery. Some older pics: (the dyno is now black and gray), and a few videos are on my site and www.tomak.net/videos.html. Everything you need to start dyno testing/tuning.

It's gonna sad to see this thing go. I think I've tuned more than 100 cars on this bad boy. Remember when it was outdoors? The good old days...

isn't a certain fairly well known calgary mustang responsible for the drive belt being new? :P

Yeah, but it was the genius strapping it down that was at fault lol.... strap melted on the exhaust, then the chain I had attached to it fell down under the cover plate, and took out the belt lol.... 1 in 1000 fluke... and.. 'operator error' lol

Damn 2000 hp race cars !! :burnout:

You should get an AWD Dyno :P I wouldn’t mind a custom tune for the Evo .. And I have seen nothing but unreal tunes from you and very happy people.
But with the Evo now being sold here and the loads of STi owners here in town along with all the other AWD vehicles popping up I am sure that it would be a pretty big market that you could capitalize on given your back ground of good tuning.
I mean yea there is one place here in town that can do AWD cars but they pretty much just do the European cars and the next closest place would be red deer. So it would be nice to have someone such as yourself here in town that could do this.
