Ok guys, I am on the fence with this one.

I can't decide on getting a brush guard ( for looks). Or getting an ARB Bull Bumper (All business)

I love the look of both, the thing is this truck will NOT be going off road but I don't mind being a poser since I have the Finder' to do the offroading in.

I think you should go for the first one if it is purely for looks.

Are you planning on installiing a winch later? or smackin small trees to help slow a decent?

if so the ARB ftw

otherwise the bush guard looks way cooler

I like the ARB way better. Looks and function!
Everyone has the same plain bush bar as the first one!

Thanks for the voice outs, for the time being I am going to go with the brush guard if I want to remove it I easily can if I want to go with the ARB. The ARB is more of a permanent bumper, (Bumper mounts have to be cut off and welded).

arb looks bad ass! but if you dont plan on putting it to use go with the bush guard, less work!

Second one, only if it includes the lights.

The ARB is also the only street legal bumper out there. Although thats not really a concern with brush bars (as its a factory accessory and the factory bumper is still installed).

I bet the cost difference is about $1000 between the two. If your looking at an ARB, its about $1500-$1800 depending on where your looking. Alot of dough for looks.

Thanks guys, I have decided! Going with the ARB, as for the OP.... I lied, since then I have taken it on a few wheeling trips and it did great!

Congrats . ARB is hard to beat for almost everything they make . If you ever decide to do some serious offroading , or have have a few extra dollars , their lockers are worth looking at . Bullet proof , convenient , and durable .

ARB Lockers IMO are the best there is. Im going to be upgrading to them without a doubt.

In fact, I'll probably be using the money Im saving for a bumper to put an airlocker into the front diff I now have to replace.

I am swapping the OE E-Locker axle assembly into mine, including harness, diff lock ECU etc. The rear axle will be OE E locked but the front I may do an ARB air, a locker on an IFS is extremely hard on the components so i've heard.

Usually alot of IFS setups use an aluminium housing differential. I know alot of guys tried to run lockers on KJ's in the front. Didnt work out too well from what I remember.

Looks a little naked there without a winch.

How was that trip you guys had vic? We ended up encountering hill after hill of shear ice. It wasnt safe so we turned back.

Ended up on some CRAZY quad trails that were barely wide enough for the tires.
