The River Cafe would be a good choice if you have the $$. Have dinner and then stroll through the park.

Or you could do one of the restaurants on Stephen Ave. DiVino comes to mind. Get the latest seating possbile, stroll down Stephen Ave and get a drink after at Muriettas

I took a date to the Calgary Tower for dinner. Sometime during our meal she just stopped talking, looked at me, back outside and said, " this sooo romantic." :D I hadn't been to the tower in a long time but foresee going there again!

Be prepared to dish out some cash though. But hey, if it's a once in awhile thing I think it's worth it. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

You could walk to Stephen Ave I suppose.

River Cafe is really nice as well; hopefully the paths are a slop though!

If you are leaning more towards fun and less towards romantic one of the dinner theaters such as Jubilations or Stage West is always a good time.
