I went to Superstore to pick up some beers, and I found these big boxes of beer called Boxer Lager right. Now I have never even heard of them, but what I do know is they are only $25 (29.99 after tax and deposit) for 36 cans right now!

I have never seen beers so cheap so I had to give this at least one try. It's being chilled right now so I can't give any sort of reviews. The worst case is I'll drink them with Clam, or even use it for cooking... But unless it smells like dog piss, this is definitely worth a try! LOL

It's not that great, but definitely cheap. Good for shotgunning or if you're just trying to get hammered. Clam definitely helps. It's brewed by Mountain Crest guys...I always hated that beer because I hated that damn guy who did his own shitty commercials so I kind of hate Boxer now too.

Brewhouse for the win!

I tried TNT a couple of times. $11.99 for 15 cans. It's like drinking poison. There is a reason why it's so cheap. Curious to find out what this stuff is like.

Agd is pretty good, $20 for a 15packer

Boxes isn't terrible. Absolutely nothing in the way for taste. Good for chugging or shotgunning I guess.

Boxer is absolute piss. I rocked 5 of them and started gagging on the 6th one. I used to buy colt 45's in high school, and id rather have a colt45 over one of these any day.
Milwakee is the best bang for your buck.

I know an alcoholic guy that drinks those. Whenever he gets stressed he goes and picks up that pack of 36 Boxer lagers. Impressive that he can finish them all, but also pretty sad.

Fuck yeah. Down in Leth all we drink is that shit. Everytime I'm at the beer store I do the same debate and everytime I still can't find a way that $22 12packs are worth it when I can get average beer at $14 a 12pack. Many good nights on the Brewhouse.

Yaa Boxer is nasty- i had a case left over from a stag. It has become garage beer, and it actually keeps me from drinking its so nasty. A friend bought TNT over for a laugh- we did a taste test and TNT was way better- both taste like shit though.

I can imagine the hangover would be pounding.

My quick review is Boxer's definitely not the best tasting stuff around. It taste like beer, but it doesn't have any of the wheat/hop/barley flavour at all. If I have to reference it with something, I'd say it tastes like an O'Doul's... Gross.

Like most have said above, Boxer's is best served iced-cold and for chugging. So I think it has potential to become a good camping shotgunnin' beer!

 I bought a Ridin Dirty for my friend's birthday a few months ago. That is by far the nastiest beer I've ever had in my life.

As for "value" aka cheap, Lucky ftw!

There's a liquor store by my house that sells "Beer". That's right, it's a white can with red letters that says "Beer". In case you want to explore your options, there is also "Strong Beer".

It was like $4.50 for a 6 pack.

As for 'good' cheap beer........CO-OP GOLD!

TNT is the cheapest I've found, my buddies bought it as a joke but good god does TNT taste like ass, it tastes like you're drinking pennies or something. It's like 11 bucks for a 15 pack I think

TNT is fucking grose. It's all cheap beer but man TNT is bad.

I usually go for Luckys, Brewhouse or Clear Creeks Ice.

Super store you can get 15 Luckys for 12$

I've been drunk twice off Boxer, and it's better than a lot of the other 'cheap' options, but both times I had pretty wicked hangovers, and 36 cans for less than $30 DEFINITELY makes it the campers choice. When you're buddies 2-4's are folded down and in the fire pit, you'll still be in business.

its like big bear (not in taste) the first 2 (sips for BB, cans for boxer) are bad, but after that, a layer of that piss clings to the surface to your tongue and mouth. then you can drink your face off without even cringing

Boxer isn't horrible. It kind of reminds me of an american beer with an undertone of something that taste like apple

I don't find Boxer beer too bad. Best value out there right now. Generally when I'm drinking its to get tossed so once I'm 4-5 deep and have buzz it doesn't matter what I'm drinking.

Boxer is pretty bad. Three of us went through a 36 one night. We were gagging right from the start and had to break out the rockstar and clam to cut through the taste.

Brewhouse gives me wicked rippers.

Old Milly is where it is at. Or Rainier.

OE is the best malt liquor IMO, unless you let it get warm then it's kinda hard to drink.

Lucky is by far the best cheap beer, AGD is garbage but if you're looking for true cheap, horrible, disgusting beer, then you buy TNT. Fuck TNT. It's so bad

PC Beer is actually good. It's made by Brick Brewery in Waterloo and I've had Red Hat and a few of their other beers out there... I prefer it to molson canadian or kokanee

I'm a newly converted Busch fan myself. Personally blew through 36 cans of it on May long and didn't even have beer shits to contend with.

Tried some boxer too, but at that point I would have probably thought Canadian tasted alright...

Anybody 25+ could recommend one of these cheaper beers that doesn't give you a crazy hangover? Blue Ribbon and the PC beers hurt the next day.

THE BEST CHEAP BEER HANDS DOWN IS CO-OP GOLD - $6.78 FOR A 6 PACK inclusive of gst&dep. Taste's a bit like Bud, but also hints of kokanee. 6 beers for the price of one at the pub/bar.
