I just looked and honestly cant see anything for >5000 landed in Vancouver.. Add shipping inspection and work required to pass inspection plus reg etc etc etc! 5000 wont cut it, unless you auction on something in japan that wont meet your expectations.

If you find one landed here for $5000 there will definitely be sacrifices you will have to make.

i have seen plenty of 180s sell for under 5k plus one or 2 auto fairladys

maybe, just possibly people can buy RHD cars locally at a loss from the previous owner :dunno:

and ps, those cars are often found for under $1k FOB which gives plenty of room to get them into the country

look on kijiji.com I saw most of those for 5k or under
and currently there are a bunch
the black mitsubishi gto that needs front bumper work
a soarer in lethbridge lots of mr-2's 180's etcc

and you can get TT 300zx auto for 5k or under no problem

suggest getting the 3000gt since the 60k service has been done which is about 1k at the dealership, but soarer is pretty much ready to go

Im sure something decent will be found for 5g if you look around and be smart about picking the car out I sold my 180sx last summer with minor body damage for about 5300, alot of things were done on it including new turbo (gt2871r i believe) oil lines full/complete from turbo elbow back apexi exhaust etc and all fluids/oil changed and that I lost a bit of money but the body kept it from being worth more, dont be afraid of a little body work, i didnt even fix mine up performance was a priority lol. You will find the 300zx auto's to be in that range (not a fan though of auto or manual 300zx) also 180sx even here on the forums are available for under 5000. Good luck on finding something:)
