Just signed a 3 year term with rogers. Is this a good deal?

Hi guy's

Just got a 16 gig iPhone (white) from rogers for my wife. I never had a contract with rogers before. For the past 15 years i been on a monthly plan with them. Anyways, since i been with them for soooo long this is the 3 year plan they gave me.

250 anytime min.
100 min. long distance in US and Canada
Free Caller ID/Voice Mail/500 Txt messages
Unlimited Evenings and Weekends starting at 7pm
Free rogers to roger or rogers to fido calls. (anywhere in canada)
500 meg data plan.

I got all this for $52 a month.. Did i do good?

Also got the White 16gig iPhone for $274. No activation fees.

Yes, that is good, almost got the same plans as some people calling Retentions


I pay $42/month right now with just

100 Mins Daytime
1000 Mins Evenings/Weekends
And Unlimited Incoming

Yea I've had the same since got the iphone couple months ago. Thinking about calling retention to try get it reduced a bit.

Yah good deal, I got exact same plan with all the stuff you mentioned and get the same price. This is the retention plan as far as i know. I got all this from retention when i got my 8 gig iphone 1 month ago (paid 200 for the phone, no activation fees)

I need to get mine reduced cause thats too high, I don't even have Caller ID/Voicemail on it, I had to take it off cuz it was getting so expensive...I tried calling customer service but the guy wouldnt even connect me to retentions....although I complained to him, he hooked me up with free text msgs til April 6th and waived my monthly fee for next month :thumbsup:

You should be able to get at least 6pm eve/wkds or push for 5pm. I would also try to get them to up your data usage to 1GB, and maybe unlimited incoming. It's up to you though if what they give you fits your wife's needs.
