Accident on Memorial early this morning?

Was on my way home from Classic Jacks a little after 2AM. Going east on memorial right around the exit to the zoo, saw a bunch of police and EMS. saw a bunch of remains of a black car near a light post. a few dozen meters down, there was a car (looked like some sort of sports car) the whole entire front end was sheared right off the car. The entire front clip was missing off it, there was nothing forward of the firewall. Crazy stuff, i've never seen such a bad of a accident in real life. Anyone else see this? I don't see it on citybeat yet. But I assume the people in the car most likely didn't survive.

It was a 180...a beyond member...everyone is safe but the car...hmm you could say what car?

I wonder if the driver will chime in on what the heck happened... But wow, lose your whole front end and still survive in a S13, that's unreal.

apparently the driver was under the influence... and I guess the car was full and everyone survived.

Was the whole front end of the car gone like torn off lol...cause to knock the wheels, engine and everything off to the firewall thats a pretty freakin devastating crash

yeah there was no front end left on the car that i could see. The front end remains were back a few dozen meters close by a big light post where there is the exit off memorial to the zoo. i don't have a clue how the car lost it's whole front clip. even if it hit the light post sideways, it would of had to been at extremely high speed, hence why i thought no one survived.

A friend of mine was on scene to help clean it up. He said it was unreal that they survived, and they must have been going obscenely fast.

He said when they arrived, there was smashed up front end in one place, the engine by itself in another, and the rest of the car, firewall back,further up, and the parts to the battery everywhere.

+1, from accidents with S13s, i find surviving extreme ones are pure luck, s13s arent the safest chassis out there, just peer into the inside of one of the doors :nut:
