you can get grits at Walmart sometimes. Not all the locations have them they are with the oatmeal.

Quick grits. Not as good as in the south, but they do.

Grits at Denny's.. Gross..

I was down south, (edit: South Carolina.. lol) and had some greens, grits, chicken fried chicken, coalslaw.. etc..

Grits were alright down there.. but fuck me, food is horrible in the dirty south :D.

Make friends with someone who goes down to the states and will bring them back, or get some mail-order, they willl be better anyways.

If I can remember, I will look up the place my father in law buys his from tonight.

its just cornmeal... buy it bulk at superstore or any bulk foods store.

I found that doing grits in the oven worked best for me and you dont have to be stirring it all the time. I have them almost once a week. Lots of butter and parm cheese!!!

Quaker makes instant grits, but I don't think they sell it in Canada.

I don't have a grits suggestion but on the Oatmeal train I've been eating this lately:

$10.00 a bag at Costco. I just throw some non sweetened Coconut and a bit of hemp hearts into it with a splash of maple syrup and it's great.

I eat a mix of pumpkin seeds, slivered almonds, and steel cut oats. Mix in some greek yogurt. About in a 1:1:1 ratio. Amazing nutrition, slow to digest, lots of fibre. Pure morning win.
