Best Burgers?!?

After 2.5 years of being a vegetarian, and now being back on a meatatarian diet I want everyone's opinion on who has the BEST burgers in Calgary...

Without a doubt, the best burger I've ever had was at 'The Cattle Baron' (used to be Oscar's) just behind the sheraton off barlow in the North East. It's lik 6.95 for a fantastic burger and fries/salad. Make sure you give it a shot!

Supposedly people travel from all over the world to eat the thick AAA beef burgers that are cooked in an abandoned Transit bus. :drool:

The atmosphere isn't really great, it's in an industrial area and there are alot of wasps.
However, sometimes there are motocross bikes doing cool jumps on a nearby hilltop. :clap:

peters used to be really good, but im really not that impressed with their burgers of late (last couple years). I concure with jeff though. Harvies is good. Also, Swiss Chalet has some freaking good burgers too. Its wierd as they mainly do chicken, but damn i like those burgers. It might have something to do with the fresh toppings though. Fresh tomato, spanish onion, pickle, etc. Ohh, its like the difference between taco time and the lowely taco bell.

I think it's more tradition than anything.. big portions for relatively reasonable price.. i dunno, I just go there for the shakes.

They make really good food. Their poutine is awesome! Their burgers are some of the best I've had. Unfortunately it's just a few blocks away so I have their food a few times a week.... The guy who owns it (family run by Koreans) is a really funny guy. Always trying to make people laugh with his impressions and voice.

Other than that, I prefer Wendys and the occasional McDonalds now and then.
