Question about imported cars

If a car has been landed here in calgary and comes with the OOP Inspection, When going to insure the car, do you need to still do a insurance inspection on it to get one insured since it is way older than 10 years? Or can you just use the OOP Papers to get it properly insured and registered for the road?

Probably depends on your insurance company and how long ago the OOP was done.

Out of province inspection lasts 3 months.
Say if previous owner did the OOP 3 months ago and you just bought the car from him, if your broker knows this you will get asked to do the oop again
