The new Road & Track has a story on upcoming cars and theres a pick of the Accord Coupe and Sedan. All I can say is man am I happy my Dad has the current model and not that one. It looks like an overgrown Civic that's had too much Mickie D's. Gross man:thumbsdow

Your dad also doesn't have a 240 hp (250 on premium) V6 w/ 6 speed manual tranny coupe that owns the old Accord in each and every way.

The coupe especially looks to much like the current civic coupe. From the back it also kind of looks like a Solara.

i hate it when ppl judge before they see it in person.

I guess its kinda true its different in person. But, I've seen quite a few pictures of the 03 Accords and they don't appeal to me at all. However, I did like the interior.

For me, most cars don't have to grow on me. I either like them or I don't.

the new accords still use the same body as the old ones.

honda's first plan was to make it appeal to seniors but added a sporty feeling (the extra 40 horses) to also appeal to the younger market

man, if they wanted to appeal to the youthful side of the market then they should have done a new model for the Prelude:nut:
the new Accords have similar lines but the bodys are different. The new ones have a slightly longer wheelbase

but they also wanted a car that also could appeal to the older crowd

If I was to buy another sedan and I couldn't have my TL Type S, then I would go for the Altima 3.5SE over the new Accord. I  the new Altima's...

The Accord is faster, has a nicer interior, a 6 speed manual, and doesn't need premium octane. The car is way more fuel efficient, and the steering isn't so grossly light.

Go testdrive both cars...I dare you to tell me that you would rather take the Altima after that. Seriously, I drive a 2.5 and the steering is already so damn light, I would hate to have 240hp on such a lifelessly dead steering wheel. You know your steering feels on ice? That's the Altima for you
