I was watching a show (Man vs. Food) and he did a chili dog challenge.

They looked damn tasty. Does anyone know of a place in Calgary that has a good chili dog? The only place I've seen is Orange Julius and they aren't exactly the best tasting chili dogs.

I know it's easy to make but just wondering if there's any place in Calgary that's known for it.

le Chein Chaud or Tubby Dog probably both have chili dogs.
I think 7-11 has some kind of pseudo chili that you can squeeze out onto your dog if you are into that sort of thing.

i went to tubby dog once and thought it was pretty good

especially considering that there is basically no where else in calgary to get a decent hot dog.

Have never had a good chili dog on this side of the border.

Though DQ used to have a decent one not even sure they still make them.

Tubby dog..ugh. Hot dogs at Costco are better than those.

If you want to do a quick and easy method. Wendy's chili and some all beef dogs and fresh buns. Better than most places in town.

I agree with Kritafo. You are better of making one yourself as there really isn't any trick to them, and you can choose the quality ingredients.

use kosher hot dogs when you make them.

I'm pretty sure they have them at fat burger by the futureshop by best buy, ikea, costco, superstore etc. I'm sure they would be pretty good from there

Mmm.. hot dog. That Wendy's Chili and hot dog combo sounds dope.

Those 7-11 hot dogs use to be like 2 for $2.29 and taste so good when you load them with chili, cheese and jalapenos, but the spiciness gets lost in all the flavor and they probably aren't very good for you.
