Free 411 (Google)
Just a heads up. I tried it and it worked.

Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone and your home phone speed dial:

1-800-goog411. (1-800-466-4411)
This is an awesome service from Google, and it's free -- great when you are on the road.
Don't waste your money on information calls and don't waste your time manually dialing the number.

This is nationwide and Google provides the service absolutely free! No ‘information’ charge and no ‘long distance’ charge.

Click on the link below and watch the short clip for a quick demonstration.

its awesome!

You can also text 46645 with the same kind of questions, like the name of a business and the street you're on and it will text you back the address and phone number.

Or you can text stock symbols and it will text you back a quote.

Is the service still free if you text? (minus the text charge your cell phone provider charges you)

Yup been using it from my cell for a while.

A tip though: I find the voice recognition for the place/business name is very sketch. What I usually do is say the location (i.e. Calgary, AB) and then when they ask what business, just key it in (but keep in mind you only need to hit one key once to cover all each letter for that key, so to spell "tits", only key in 8, 4, 8, 7). That way I usually get a 95% success rate.

I do this, and no it doesn't cost anything extra.
