"Didn't have the courage?" I mean, either you want to die or you want attention. Should have aimed for a target and then the military would have had no option but to shoot him, or left it on autopilot and run it out of fuel - gravity kicks in sooner or later.

A North American Aerospace Defense Command spokesman has said that the pilot knew the F-16s were off his wing, but did not respond despite repeated attempts to reach him on every frequency possible.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon.

One of my favorites of all time.

That is an absolutely beautiful work of art.

I dunno.

If I had a terminal illness or something... I think being shot out of the sky by the worlds most advanced aircraft would be a hell of a way to go.

Most people say they would like to die having sex - but thats a little cliche - that and anyone can do it. To die being shot down by a sidewinder - now thats something people remember.

I want to die, having sex, while skydiving, by a f-16's sidewinder.

Is that too cliche?

Bah all the cessna pilot could have taken them, all he had to do is go full flaps and chop the throttle.

"I'll hit the brakes and they'll fly right by"

Haha, Cessna taking a F-16!? That's amazingly funny. I mean, the airplane part, not the death part.

I was thinking the same thing. Just slow down the Cessna and the F16's would fly right by

What is the minimum speed an F16 can still maintain altitude at? Its barely got any wings. They would have to do hundreds of figure 8's or circles in the air just to keep within sight of it.

I think it's 180 km/h, about the same as the Cessna's top speed.

Edit, apparently take off speed for an f-16 is 138 - 148 mph, stall speed anywhere from 90knots to 120 is what I found online. Either way, it's not much higher than the Cessna's top speed.

I wonder how much this guy cost the US government? Jet fuel isn't cheap nor are the bullets should they of had to use them.

max speed of the cessna 172 in perfect conditions is 302 kph, is above the stall speed of 278 kph of the F-16.
