Hey guys, totally n00b right here haha :) FIRST POST w00t!

Anyways, so basically I'm hoping to get a 1993 Mk4 non turbo Supra this coming June or July and I have come across several places in Calgary who seem to have stock either here or in Japan...

The place that I'm looking most at is:

jdmtunersinc

Anyone heard anything about these guys? Also if anyone knows another importing place for Calgary hook me up :)

Thanks!

**PS**
If I posted this in the wrong section sorry.. I'll look like a total idiot and have to create another account lol :)

Honestly just save up your money until you can afford the turbo, you will be happier in the long run. Also it will be much cheaper if you decide you want to mod the car.

Bro Im 18 and I have been driving a ford focus for the past year.

Even without a turbo.. a supra would be a major step up lol

Well, I could sit here and tell you the 8 million reasons why I wouldn't recommend importing a car, but really that would take this thread nowhere, and you've obviously made up your mind already. So instead, I will recommend terra2imports.ca]. They're located in B.C. but will ship to you in Calgary, I've had a few friends who went through them and they're one of the better companies out there. There are a lot of importers in Calgary I wouldn't recommend using. I'll help you before you get flamed, by instructing you to use the Search button at the top. A simple search for JDM Importers should give you more than enough results to keep you occupied for hours.

Have you invested in a flame-retardant suit yet? It's standard-operating equipment here at Beyond, and If I were you, I'd throw that bad boy on, you've just poured gasoline all over yourself, and you're standing in the middle of a torch-wielding mob.

I guess you don't understand the logic behind what I am saying. Anyways good luck with your non-turbo Supra then.

you can search up jdmtuners here on the forum to see what prior customers of theirs have to say.

I would recommend Jdmsource?

instead of looking at pictures and gamble on what kind of car you will get, jdmsource only sells their cars that's already here. Simply go to their warehouse and check out what they have

coming from a s13 owner with a sr20 swap bahahhahhaah

Stay away from jdmtuners for reasons on this thread, look it up

If you want the cheapest possible + highest quality goto tyeeimports.com, they have a twin turbo auto for 10k in great condition, so you can imagine what a non turbo 5 speed would cost

JDM Source seems pretty good, and to the OP: Props to being responsible, I don't think I could have handled a Supra Turbo at 18, and by then I had 2+ years track experience. They are SO much fun to drive (even the non-turbo). You will not get bored of how it drives. Evar.
