Any interest in a lapping day?

Kevie88 and I rented the track last year and had a private day for ourselves and 9 friends. The rental costs approx 3k from 8am to 4pm. I have 5 people committed this year and I am trying to get a date nailed down. I need 5 more cool people who have done lapping days before, who will be respectful and in control. It's $300 for a car and 1 driver if there are 10 people. If we find more guys (max 15) the cost just gets split between all of us...eg $3000/15=$200 per car. This is shaping up to be the last year that we will have race city so we should take advantage of it. Standard lapping day rules, be in control, passing on the east side of the main straight ONLY. NO BEATERS...If you show up with no brakes and bald tires, I send you home!! We have some nice cars out there and no one wants damage!!! If there is enough interest, I am up for doing multiple days. My only requirement is that everyone who commits, shows up.(pre payments are preferred..if I have your money..you'll show-up!!) This is a non money making deal, everyone will see the cost of the rental and see that it gets split evenly between the participants. It's not the cheapest way to do a lapping day but you get lots of track time. I screen people in an effort to end up with all good guys..(and ladies) PM or email me if you are interested. Dates to be confirmed..I need people first!!

If you are interested, once we nail down the date, I would like $100 deposit from everyone. I work at Walt Healy Motorsports and everyone that gives me dough can have my home address. (so your sure I'm not going to bail with your money..)

Once again, this will not be a money maker...I just want to be square.

Track rental=$2500+GST NO AMBULANCE

$2625/number of cars. Hopefully 15 so we are under $200/car

The track rat is looking pretty beat, but will have bigger brakes, cage and wider meat by then.

There has been way more interest than spots....I can book Sept 8th or 15th...Same deal 15 guys, $175/car $100 deposit for the day. If anyone can commit that far ahead let me know. I need to leave a $1000 deposit for the day so I need feedback. If you are interested and will put the money ($100) out....let me know, I'll book it. The 8th is the tuesday after the long weekend, 15th one week later...I think the 15th is the better day.

For those of you newbies (so far as lapping goes), the Calgary Sports Car Club still has some openings in their Solo I program. Packages start at $300 for the school and 2 evenings of lapping.
