Back in October 2005 I sold my prelude that I had owned forever, I honestly didnt know what I could build with a certain amount of funds. But I did remember getting inspried earlier that year by this car

http://www.speedtechracing.com/images/media_events/2/Nick%20050.jpg

So I made the decision to build something relative to this. For the life of me I could not find a reasonable deal on one. So I went and ordered the parts anyway lol. Intake, exhaust, aero, seats, wheels, suspension. I wanted it to be faily rounded off so I started with that. 2 months later I found a car which was this one here.

http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o93/shadowz940/DSC02949.jpg

7 months later all my parts arrived and I towed the car to the body shop for the first part of the build

This is where I installed the rest which did consist of, Spoon Calipers, Js Rotors/Lines/Pads, T1R Coilovers, T1R tower bar, Tabata Rad/thermostat, Js Throttlebody, exhaust, test pipe, valve cover, spoon rad hoses, seats and misc

Finished product in may 06

A month later I got really tired of the wheels so I changed the Works out for some Non staggered Volk CE28n

http://www.speedtechracing.com/images/media_cars/19/gold013.jpg

Over the winter I had ordered Js wide fenders, Mugen FRP hardtop and another set of Volk CE28n in a more aggressive width and offset.
Here it is at the body shop test fitting the wheels before the fender roll and fender swap

Spring 2009
I have a few power adders to install, a couple additional pieces for the exterior and thanks to Dan at Screamin Paint works, the car is now off for a little facelift. I will update this when it is done

I can't stand the overfenders, but that's just me. Car looks fantastic and I can certainly appreciate the money/time into a car like that.

those RE30s just make the car complete. I didn't like the previous wheel/color combos but this one is it. Can't think of anything that would match better.

I've always been a huge fan of the Amuse GT1

Very Nice man

Hey have you got someone to weld up the upper A-arm mounting point, Seen a few cars on S2ki having problems with it pulling from the frame, especially with wide tires.

Again very nice car

Yeah long time. So long infact that when I went to Speedtech to ask to talk to you they thought I was crazy lol

So your NA power adders. I know from experience the S2000 is so well tuned stock that it’s hard to find bolt-ons that will give you any meaningful power gains. You mentioned the Js 70rr exhaust. So I’m assuming, intake, header, ECU?

just did a quick google. These guys claim 300hp and 200lb/ft NA with a stroker kit, ITB and bolt ons. ITBs are awesome, but also so expensive.

You hit the nail right on the head, yes with ITB and stroker it really wakes up the engine, most F20c see upwards of 30 whp in midrange to 15 at the top end, my friend also built a spoon 2.2L, mild head treatment, with hondata made 280whp 167 tq.

Lol yes again, here went the spec in order iirc

Work Meister
18x10 +54
18x8.5+48

Volk CE 28N
17x8.5 +48 non stagger

Volk CE 28n
17x9 +35 non stagger

Volk RE30
17x9.5 +40 non stagger

Nothing really crazy, people are really goit ng all out with lower offsets on these cars.

Thanks guys, car should be done in the next little while, I do recommend Screamin Paintworks, they have contacted me with everything they have encountered from work performed by the last body shop, I have given Dan and Dave a lot of input to what I would like done this time around. By far the best body shop I have used.
