Any one having Hotmail issues tonight?

Just wondering if any one is experiancing problems with Hotmail tonight. I logged in and my inbox has dissapeared and I know have the following message:

You don't have an inbox...yet

hopefully my mailbox has not dissapeared for good becuase I had a few emails that I would hate to lose.:banghead:

So I check my email from hotmail everyday and there was no problems. Earlier today I could even log on and use it like i normally would. When i came home from work tonight, it won't let me log in. I get a message telling me to sign up for a inbox.

I could log onto msn messenger 10 minutes ago but now i can't. It didnt boot me off all of a sudden. I tried to relog on.

I keep everything that has been sent to me on the hotmail for 2 years, and now EVERYTHING is gone including some important ones.

Anyone know the cause of this? I doubt its my computer because i cant log on with my brothers account either.

any suggestions?

I just tried it on my laptop and didnt work, tried it on my desktop and it was fine :dunno:

I hope none of you went ahead and created a new inbox. If you did that you might be out of luck on recovering your old inbox.

My primery email is working fine again :thumbsup:

I think its something to do with this http://support.microsoft.com/gp/messenger Specifically some sort of changeover. It asked me to change my sign-in ID, but I only got errors when trying to do so: "Your Windows Live ID can't be changed"

i used a proxy t change my ip and i could get in. with out it i couldn't maybe its just calgary

If you actually tried to click "create a new inbox" - it would just take you back to the same page/screen....

Anyways I had the same problem last night, my various accounts all seem find now.

Started having issues with this yesterday - I was actually thinking IT changed something on the work computers so we couldn't hit webmessenger or hotmail anymore... Basically getting time-outs when you try to log into any of the msn network...

I know Microsoft are doing upgrades to there Live servers or something tonight, these problems were kinda expected, also LOTS of people had problems today if they had a MSN/Hotmail/Live/Sympatico email account in there BB, something happened on the Microsoft Live servers, it sent some info to the BB servers, and then BB sent out notifications to most (if not all) users of these accounts saying to validate there email account, it did this on many carriers, so BB had a few million people in a short period of time try and log onto there servers to validate, which in turn brought down the BB servers and stopping people from getting there email accounts back up and running.
