2005 M3, Manual, from Ontario, 7x,xxx KM, blue (minor scratches and such) seems to run good, 19" rims, blue/black leather interior.

Asking $39,995.

Not sure, so wanted to ask the BMW guru's what kind of a price is on something like this. Blackbook is above $40,000.

40k for 70+ klms and it's from Ontario.

Do you know if the guy drove it all year round.

Have you done any research on M3's?

You can certainly get a better deal than that in Alberta or BC.

Here's an 05 with 40k klms for 39k

an 04 with 70k klms for 34k

Personally, I wouldn't buy a car like that from Ontario, unless it was a really good deal.

I checked out this car too. It had BBS LMs too which looked sick. It was in good shape.

It's carbon black which is the best color IMO.

I'm surprised he still has it.

To the OP, do your research. You'll stumble upon a good deal once in a while.

Keep looking. They are dated and cheap if you are patient.

Well out of curiosity, I started looking at E46 M3 pricing... in the US it went down slightly (not as much as I thought since the new M3 is out) and in Canada the prices went up. This prob has to do with the exchange rate back up to 1.25 cuz cars don't appreciate lol.

So ya, the prices of M3 coupes are more than what I was asking last year when I was selling mine.

true. They did definitely drop in the US, but not as heavily as last summer, when used luxury prices took the greatest hit.

and to the OP, that's a bad deal. You can get an 05 with those km for around 34-36k here, 39k seems way too high.
And 05's normally aren't rusty, most people don't drive their M3's in the winter, they drive beaters. But its a good idea to make sure its been undersprayed in its life before you buy from there.
Like this is a good deal, low km.

:werd: I went with him to check it out. In great condition and wasn't driven through the winter.

Not a good deal imo. You can find a better deal than that around here. I just recently saw a Competition package one with similar kms for a few thousand less. I wouldn't be buying from out east.

Prices may be higher now than a few months ago since the spring is here but better deals are to be had if you just keep looking.

I've seen him downtown with that car in the winter. Quite a while ago... and it was only once... but I did see it.

thanks for the advice guys. Too bad because I love M3's and it is hard to wait and find the perfect one.

But I know it will be worth it. Just seeing your thread with your car Rage has killed me though

Maybe last year but wasn't this year, no winter tires = death if it snows. Not worth the risk (or the paint chips).

do your research in to these cars such as rtabs, subframe, ignition coils, alternator lots of glitches with this car

As for the price to high and its from ontario

remember if it doesnt have warranty or had the work done recently like inspection 2 or a valve adjustment which is coming up on that car dont bother
