Hey guys, so during the past couple of weeks, somehow my Static IP settings go deleted, so I went to redo them today, and when I go into command and type in ipconfig /all, I get everything I need except for my DNS server information. It just says 192.168.0.1 which is my router's IP address. Before there used to be 2 numbers as there should be.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I just went ahead and typed 192.168.0.1 into the DNS and left the second one blank, the ports seem to be opened now, static IP seems to be working, and the internet is working...what is happening here?

If you shut off DHCP on your router, and set your IP to be dynamic, your ISP will automatically fill in both primary and scondary DNS. write em down, and then go set your static. then you can turn on DHCP again on the router if you like. You should be able to get the info right from your router too.. sometimes they are difficult to navigate.
