hi, does anyone know where to unlock my nokia 8390 for free? i tried unlocking it once with codes provided to me but i dont think it worked( i found the site on beyond), i wanna unlock my phone before selling it on ebay..

Well the first time you got the codes did you get more than 1 code? If you tried 3 different codes you locked your phone for good. Only way to remove it is with a cable then.

Just a warning so you don't try to many codes.

its not that easy with all phones. the calculator for nokia dct-4 phones is available on the net thats why it is easy for those.

Weapon_R might still be able to help you though i'm not sure.

Nope, just using a standard dc4/dc3 calculator too. V60i's are harder, but you can buy a data cable off ebay for about 20 bucks and download the software to flash your whole phone.

v60i's arent that easy... there is a calculator for them too, but it is harder to come by!

yeah moto's can be done with just a calculator as well. no need for a data cable. haven't seen them around yet though and they don't work for all imei's.

I've heard of a program called VictorGSM that will completely unlock Motorola phones. That program is readily available on the net, but I did not keep my v60 long enough to try it. There are also calculators, but good luck finding one, that works.

hi i am in a similar situation. i have a nokia 8390 and it is locked by my former service provider AT&T. can anyone please help me in unlocking it for free.

If anyone wants a Nokia DCT-4 phone unlocked for free just PM me the phone model, IMEI#, and the provider it is locked to.
