So these things are going for pretty cheap used nowadays, ~100 bucks. At that price are they worth it? I know the photo quality isn't up to par with other point and shoots, but I think the whole point of this camera is just portability. It's something you wouldn't mind caring with you all the time. That being said is the picture quality that poor that it's just not worth it?

I used to work at Sony once upon a time and the T7 was actually a decent little camera. I took one home for a few days, tried it out and got good pics. You are right, the quality won't be that of other Point and Shoot's, but the pictures are more than good enough quality to be happy with for random picture taking and what not. Since you've already addressed the fact that you know it won't be pheonominal picture quality, I think you'll be impressed with how good of photos the little guy actually takes.

If they're only $100 now then that's a good steal for such a pimp little camera. Have you ever held one? They're WAY thinner than most wallets at the size of a metal business card holder. Great cool little cameras. Try and find a black one... so sexy.

Yea the one I was looking at was black, they sure are good lookinh cameras, but I decided to pass on it, got a great deal on a canon SD880 instead.
