Geo Metros/Suzuki Swifts came in that color
So did 1st gen Neons, as well with the Plymouth Breezes.
I think the 1st gen intrepids also came in that color too.

^ too bad almost all those cars are shit.
If you're after the plum color so badly, just repaint the car you want with it. A fairly decent paint job will be $1100-$1500 or so for that size (thereabouts) of car. :dunno:

I think that you and I have a very different idea of what a decent paint job is.

Fits come in purple. Older Civics.

Are you basing your decision solely on colour??

The Fit gets better fuel economy, and since colour is the most important factor here, you may as well make it a practical car at the same time.

Note that I said fairly decent;) I personally have went through a friend that gave me a good rate on painting my winter car.

Just wondering, is there a reason you want a purple car in specific? You're really limiting your choices. I mean I have favorite colors for cars, but I wouldn't use color as the deciding factor. I think a few neons came in purple...

But yea, I'd go with chkolny541's suggestion

I have a toyota, but I want a purple car to be my company car - goes with the theme of the company... I see the Nissan Rogue in that iridium graphite color which is cool - but a bit too big for me. I am surprised at the lack of options - not much in the way of burgundy/purple at all.

^ Probably because most people (myself very much included in this group) do not want a purple car. ;)

In the 90s, my friend's mom wanted a BMW, and she wanted it a specific shade of purple, so she and her husband went out and bought a brand new BMW 750i, then spent over $10,000 covering up the factory paint with this new stupid purple color. Am I alone in thinking this is patently ridiculous?
