Just go to the Toyota Website, click "used vehicles" then on the top menu under "tools" select "appriase your trade in" and follow the obvious links. You can't link right to it because you need to type in the security code that it provides you with. They have had this service for as long as I can remember.

Like it or not, unless the car is extremely rate, most private sell are sold @ blackbook.

Selling to dealer can be sometime under blackbook.

It's an average of selling prices at wholesale auctions, not retail price.

Black Book has been free through car manufacturer's websites (used section, just like Toyota's) for as long as I can remember. Nice try though! :D

But yeah, Black Book value is pretty low..its usually around the price you'll get from a dealer for a trade-in.

I always do the Toyota link. I use it now and then when i want to find out what i would expect to get on a trade in.
