Accident Witness

This happened on Friday,April 3 in the Starbucks parking lot on Mathilda and Maude in Sunnyvale CA. I was parked with my engine turned off. I was waiting for my husband who was supposed to meet me at 5 pm. This woman in a white honda accord backed into my car. At that point, she accepted full responsibility and even offered to get my car fixed through a private body shop. I preferred to go through my insurance and so we exchanged information. I did not look for a witness then since she said she accepted full responsibility. Now she changed the story and claims I was backing as well! It is very unfair and I need a witness. If anyone who witnessed this happens to read this, please come forward. Any other advice in this regard is also welcome.

Sucks for you. Now you know for future reference:


1.Always get a witness.
2.If she accepts responsibility at the scene of the accident, get it in writing.


I'm sure if a body shop took a look at it, they can tell direction of impact.
