View Full Version : RX-8 and 7 Meet and cruise May 10th

Sunday May 10th I am thinking about taking highway 1a out to Banff and I figured I would like to meet some other 8 owners on the forum. We have a special breed of car so it's always nice when I don't have to explain that my car doesn't have pistons.

I would suggest we meet up in the NW as people are less likely to get lost through city traffic if we can just turn onto Crowchild and go. The Rona in Crowfoot is an excellent place to meet as they have a huge parking lot and there is a Petro Canada and Tim Horton's within 200 feet.

May 10th @ 10:00 am at Crowfoot Rona.

Leave for Banff by 10:30 and grab some grub when we get there.

My FD with 8 pistons in it won't quite be done by then... oh well. :D

Anything that has wheels and a motor is welcome, but you only get to chill with the kool kids if your car had a rotary in it at some point.

Sounds good! I'm still itching to drive mine this year as I got into a truck this past winter...what a mistake!

Hopefully we have a good showing!

No I didn't, I'm a member there though. I just didn't think that many people from Calgary were on that forum.

usually a few of us ( ~ 7 or so ) frequent that board, most of them beyond too, but I think if you want some Rx8 to show up you will probably need to make a mention there.

I am showing for sure. I may only cruise with to Cochrane and get icecream there and call it a day though :)

Well guys, I almost made it to the Rona. If my 8 would have had a spare tire I would have!

Hope everyone managed to meet up and had a good time. I still can't believe my luck this morning.
