25 bucks to run your car
your car has to be good enough so you dont kill yourself going down the track.... their inspect the car before you go on the track

it costs 25 bucks to race, you need shoes that cover your toes ( running shoes) pants (no shorts).and youll need a dot approved helmet, they rent them for 10 bucks or you can bring your own. and they do inspect your car, i see your drive a cobalt ss/sc, unless you significantly modded your car youll be fine.

tips for launching..well one trick i use is to rev to redline or just below and the drop the clutch. works everytime.....

haha just kidding.

but actually. i used to drive a cobalt ss/sc. they are kinda tricky to lanuch you need to practice lots before you get it right.

but roughly, rev to about 2.5-4k rpm and then you gotta feather the clutch out to prevent wheelspin while still getting optimal power. if you feel the car shaking (wheel hop) let off the gas immediatly as youll wind up breaking your axle. wait till you got full traction before you put your foot to the floor.

good luck!

Damn I will miss the first day. Helmets are only mandatory in drag if your faster than 14 seconds im pretty sure. Helmets are mandatory for all cars if they run the auto cross. $25 plus $5 for helmet rental.

lol i dont have to worry about breaking into 13s unless a miracle happens so i probably wont need a helmet

Easy on the wheel hop.. leave when the last yellow bulb comes on (usually) Also, you'll be pretty excited.. breathe, you're not racing for a million dollars or anything ;)
