so i started with a yamaha pacifica (metal flake gold) about 14 years ago, took some lessons, ended up buying a very second hand bc rich nj series in school bus yellow.
sold the yamaha, and played the bc rich up until about 10 yrs ago and put my guitar'ing to sleep for a few years.
i was never that good and cars ended up taking over my life.

so the diy'er in me decided to strip down my bc rich and attempt a repaint, now after 3 years with a stripped guitar unable to play at all, i looked into professional paint and after being quoted 500$ i decided to just give up on it and pick up a better guitar.

so i did a lot of research, went to a few guitar stores and tried a few guitars, and came on to really like the epiphone les paul, great looks, decent quality and nice price.

but the stores were charging 1000$ brand new, which i couldn't afford, so instead i snooped around ebay for a few weeks until i found the right one.

nearly brand new with a hard case.

$650 canadian shipped from TX

plays like a dream, and i decided to snap some pics to share, even though it looks like any les paul custom you would find in a guitar store.

i think im gonna bring it in to be set up professionally, i was referred to a guy that works right behind axe music, but if anyone has any other leads on good guitar guys let me know.

so enjoy

Looks great man, I was looking at one for a while before I came upon my Rick Turner Model 1.

A grand guitar, especially for the money

Nice axe, not a fan of gold hardware on any guitar but it's almost appealing on a white one. I'm sure it shreads though and to each his own!

What kinda pickups? Gibson classic '57s?

The guy you want to take that guitar to is Miles at fretworks, He's the best luthier in Calgary!
