So, this coming May long, I am going to Montana for camping.

Obviously, passports are going to be required to cross the border.

Does anyone know what else they restrict?

Can you bring alcohol across, meat, propane tanks, matches?

I know alcohol is cheaper in the states but I have a few bottles I want to finish, so I am going to bring it along.

Meat -> Mad cow disease?? Are you allowed to transport meat across the border? It would be a hassle to purchase the food in the states.

Propane tanks -> On that topic, how are you suppose to transport propane tanks? Do you need a TDG, or you can do it with a passenger car?

I got some information on google and it seems to be good in Alberta, does anyone know how the regulations are in Montana

If anyone else has any other information, that would be great! Thank you,

its way less hassle to just buy your food in the states. Oranges and various other items are controlled and they will confiscate them at the border.

Rules with alcohol are something like a flat of beer and a handle per person. I dont know what the policy is on half-full containers.
