so if you race, let's say at the 1/4 mile track once, is your entire warranty void??? shouldn't only the parts that broke due to racing or had higher wear due to racing be affected?

thats pretty hurt. so do dealerships void your warrenty if you race the car?

Read your warranty papers guys, the dealers can (and apparently do) deny warranty coverage or void warranties outright for damage inflicted (or even potentially inflicted) at the track. I don't know about other manufacturers, but subaru has right in the owners manual that competition use renders the warranty void. That being said, I've never had a problem getting my car serviced, the dealer knew what I was doing with it from day 1 and I never had any trouble. I guess it really depends on the dealership or manufacturer.
